Saminco JD-400  debuts in Australia at AIMEX in the new VES Highlander Engineering HE-15/HE-20 Shuttle Car 

Aug 2007: 
Saminco receives order from Los Angeles Metro for the A300501 DC to AC blower system as a drop-in replacement for their aging 750V DC system.  
Aug 2007: 

OSU Buckeye Bullet II and the Ford 999 both break the 200mph barrier at Bonneville during SpeedWeek '07. Powered by the Saminco M1 series traction drives.

Aug 2007: 

Saminco signs LOI with Team Velozzi to compete in the Automotive X-Prize. Saminco will design and manufacture the traction inverter for the 2 vehicles Velozzi plans to enter into the contest. 1st prize to be in excess of 25 million dollars.

July 2007: 
Saminco receives order to deliver 31 Streetcar control systems to rebuild the Von Dullen cars (New Orleans) that were damaged by hurricane Katrina. Delivery to commence Jan 08.
July 2007: 
Roush/Ford Fusion 999 hydrogen fuel cell test vehicle and Buckeye Bullet 2 are ready for land speed records at Bonneville Speed week August 2007.

July 2007: 
Over 20 Saminco DC/AC VFD Coal Transport systems in daily production in US coal mines

FMC orders Saminco VF1 system for zero emissions airline pallet loader. The Commander C15E will use battery powered 40HP AC  to replace standard 100HP Diesel system.

May 2007: 
Pennsylvania Bureau of Mine Safety approves the Saminco Electronic Overload system for the A777 and A750 traction drives. The
electronic overload is now acceptable for use in PA without external OL protection (i.e. bi-metallic OL or dual element fuse).
