Start-Up Interlocks:
- Pump Lockout: Unit cannot be run unless pump is running.
- Tram Re-start Lockout: Upon power-up, tramming cannot be initiated unless foot switch is first returned to "off" position.
Overcurrent Protection:
- 400A or 600A (depending on motor(s) selected) magnetic circuit breaker in DC supply (customer supplied)
- Instantaneous cut-out if motor current exceeds 2400A for 100HP or 1500A for 50HP motor(s)
- Built-in thermal inverse time overload relay for tram motor(s)
Overtemperature Protection:
- At a baseplate temperature of 85°C (185°F), the tram control circuit will cut back to 50% of nominal operation (1000A maximum current, instead of 2000A maximum current).
- Should the internal temperature of the tram controller power devices exceed 105°C (221°F), the tram controller will be disabled.
Installation:
- It is very important that any heat generated by the A750 be effectively conducted to the surface of the XP box, and then to the outside air.
- Please follow installation instructions carefully.
