September 16th – 70th New VFD Shuttle Car

Saminco - in cooperation with Auxier Welding - has provided Alliance Energy with over 70 AC Shuttle Cars. These powerful cars are setting production records in the Illinois Coal Basin. The DC trailing cable system allows the high performance AC traction and conveyor controllers to operate continuously with no noticeable heating of the drives or motors. There is virtually no difference in the vehicle speed or acceleration if the vehicle is loaded or unloaded.
