The Saminco VX1 drive uses Neutral-Point Clamped (NPC) 3-Level Inverter Technology. This 3-level technology results in reducing motor surge voltages which reduces the stress on the motor insulation system; reduces bearing currents which greatly increases bearing life and provides improved performance with increased speed and torque from a standard induction motor.
